Spring flowers

Easter lilies not yet ready to bloom.

My Iris, the first one I have ever had to bloom and I have about 5 buds and the others look like they might bloom this year.

One of the pink azaleas.. Spring has come to the south. I do hope we don't have hail tonight (we have bad storms headed this way) and ruin them. They are the prettiest they have been in a long time.

Well it has been awhile since I blogged, but I have been very sick. I got the crud that was going around, got rid of it and then it came right back, so I was ill for about 6 weeks. I took my flu shot, so it wasn't that, but you couldn't prove it to me. I got behind on all my quilting. Right now I have one friend's quilt and a charity quilt for Devine Quilters and I will be caught up and will work on some stuff of my own. Yeah!

I also got all of the embroidery and patch's sewn on for my Goldwing group. My friend Jennifer Kay for The Quilting Solution came down last weekend and helped me (I mostly watched as I am still tired, this getting old means you don't bounce back so swiftly as you used to do). She decided we need to move the long arm upstairs to the bonus room. She is a wonderful organizer, she doesn't throw out, she organizes. And I am really attached to my stuff, and boy do I have a lot of stuff. She did not organize my fabric or the room that I sew in (so that should give you an idea of how much stuff there is).

I think Spring is here finally and pollen is everywhere. I think we will have about a week of Spring if that. It was 90° yesterday on my deck. But I have Irises blooming for the first time and they are gorgeous. Life is good, enjoy today.
