Mother's Fruitcake

I remember my Mom baking the best fruitcake. She took a box of spice cake mix and used coffee in place of the water. She then floured all of the nuts and fruits and mixed them in the prepared batter. I just took it out of the oven and it smells just like Mom's, now to see what it taste like. Yummmm!

  1. Mmmmmmm. I have found (last year) from Judy Laquidira a new to me recipe. It's a dried fruit cake with brandy. You have to soak your fruit in brandy for at least 2 days. I made it last year and was yummy! I'll be your taste tester lol.
